Preview | Millwall v Bradford

Saturday 3rd September 2016

This weekend the Lions take on Bradford still unbeaten in the League in this campaign. Millwall played Bradford 4 times last season in the League with the Lions winning one and losing one. Then we played in the playoffs where we won both legs.

Bradford are under new management now since we last played them, as Phil Parkinson left Bradford to take up the Manager’s job at Bolton. Their boss is now Stuart McCall and in fact this is his 2nd time in charge.

Under Parkinson, especially in the play-off games, they were very direct. And I suspect under McCall they will play the ball a lot more on the deck which is to be welcomed.

It remains to be seen if Callum Butcher will be handed his home league debut.

I reckon the Lions will end Bradford’s unbeaten run.
