Millwall-v-Braintree-Town
This Sunday the Lions step into the unknown with their 2nd round tie against National League side Braintree Town. This is the first time since Braintree Town was formed back in 1898 that they got through to the 2nd round proper of the FA Cup.

In the previous round, Braintree played Eastbourne Borough and demolished them 7-0 in fact the game was effectively over after the first 15 minutes when Braintree were 3 up. One of the Braintree players is defender Jake Goodman who was released by Millwall. Currently, Braintree sits 5th from the bottom of the National League.

The Lions have never played Braintree in any 1st team competitive match, Braintree has been allocated 500 tickets. The Lions will be without Steve Morison who is still out with an injury. Lee Gregory is doubtful to start but he may be on the bench. I suspect Tom King will take over in

The Lions will be without Steve Morison who is still out with an injury. Lee Gregory is doubtful to start but he may be on the bench. I suspect Tom King will take over in goal from Archer.

I have no doubt that Harris will make changes, and I will be amazed if the Lions do not make it into the 3rd round but I must qualify the statement by saying Millwall must apply a proper work ethic and not turn up thinking it is a stroll in the park.
